A $2.4 billion winner For $47 million, the Powerball jackpot purchases a third house.

The winner of the highest lottery jackpot in history has added a $47 million mega-mansion to his real estate holdings in Los Angeles, California.

In November 2022, Edwin Castro, being 31 years old, became the lucky winner of a massive $2.04 billion Powerball prize.

A month after accepting his reward, Castro bought a $25.5 million property on a Hollywood Hills hillside where he could be near Ariana Grande, Dakota Johnson, and Jimmy Kimmel.

In addition, he invested $4 million in a home in his native Altadena, California, with Japanese design.

The home boasts seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a koi pond and a vast infinity pool. The property offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Los Angeles.

Castro hasn't only bought houses, though. He has reportedly been traveling in a vintage Porsche 911 since winning the lotto.

The next Powerball jackpot is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 13th, and the current jackpot stands at a whopping $550 million.
