Trailer for "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom": Jason Momoa Returns with a Son and Amber Heard Appearance in DC Sequel

Aquaman is finally returning to cinemas after a five-year hiatus. The first trailer for "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom," which announces Jason Momoa's aquatic DC hero's comeback, has been published by Warner Bros.

He teams up with his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) in the sequel to take on the violent pirate Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).

Black Manta, still motivated by the desire to revenge the murder of his father despite failing to kill Aquaman the first time, will do whatever it takes to finally destroy Aquaman.

To build an odd alliance, Aquaman will resort to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former ruler of Atlantis.

Along with Momoa, Wilson, and Abdul-Mateen, other actors from the first film who will return include Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Temuera Morrison, Willem Dafoe, and Dolph Lundgren.

Wan said to Entertainment Weekly that the bond between Arthur and Orm was always intended to be the main focus of the "Aquaman" sequel:

The fourth DC film to be released this year is the "Aquaman" sequel, which comes after the underwhelming debuts of "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," "The Flash," and "Blue Beetle."
